The 2025 1 oz American Silver Eagle is the official silver bullion coin of the United States, first introduced in 1986 under the Liberty Coin Act. Obverse Design

The obverse showcases Adolph A. Weinman’s legendary Walking Liberty design, originally used on the 1916–1947 half dollar. Reverse Design

The reverse features the updated design introduced in 2021, created by U.S. Mint artist Emily Damstra. The artwork depicts a bald eagle descending toward its nest, clutching an oak branch in its talons—a representation of strength, renewal, and American heritage.

Coins minted before mid-2021 feature the Type 1 heraldic eagle reverse by John Mercanti, while 2021 and later issues—including the 2025 coin—carry the Type 2 landing eagle design.
